Moreover, since the vast majority of consultants and management firms base their recommendations from “boiler plate” methods, your practice is unique, their approaches to management are only effective if your practice fits into their business model. You either have to change radically, hope your practice fits their models, or settle for less than optimal returns.

The dental school I attended was one of the best in the nation, but they never even thought about offering “Dental Business 101.” The school cut us loose and let us sink or swim in the business world.
